学术报告 报告题目:Electrostatic Origins of Low Salinity WaterFlooding 报 告 人:谢全 副教授 时 间: 2019年11月11日(周一)下午15:00 地 点:国家重点实验室A403学术报告厅 报告人单位:Curtin University, Australia 欢迎全校师生参加! 报告内容: Low salinity waterflooding appears to be a cost-effective and environmentally friendly means to improve oil recovery by increasing hydrophilicity. However, the controlling factor(s) behind this process remains unclear. This research characterized wettability of oil-brine-rock system from nano to pore scale through a combination of experiments and geochemical modelling, providing insights to better model multiphase flow at subsurface. New findings can also help to constrain the intrinsic uncertainties of CO2-assisted EOR with respect to wettability alteration.
Dr Xie got his bachelor degree in Applied Chemistry in 2005, and master degree in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering, mainly focused on EOR, from Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU) in 2008. From 2008, he pursued his PhD in the Overseas Research Institute of Oil and Gas Engineering in China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Dr Xie started his career in 2011 in the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (RIPED) of PetroChina in Beijing. He has/had been heavily involved and lead in Chemical-EOR, Low Salinity Water Flooding, and CO2 sequestration, which were funded by CNPC, Geoscience Australia, Shell, and Ministry of Science and Technology of China during the past six years.
