Southwest Petroleum University History Museum Opening Ceremony was held on the morning of October 29^th. Secretary of SWPU CPC Committee Sun Yiping, relatives of the first university President Ma Zai, representatives of former university leaders and alumni, along with faculty and students, attended the ceremony. Deputy Secretary of SWPU CPC Committee, Zhao Zhengwen presided over the ceremony at the scene.

The newly-built History Museum covers 1,043 square meters, comprising over 1,200 item, such as historical document, picture, etc.. Combined with paintings, sculptures, featured setting reconstruction, the designers applied high-tech and interactive multidimensional approaches to display 60 years of the university glory from an overall perspective and to reproduce the course of hard struggle for generations of SWPUers.
