On June 11^th,the first international undergraduates have their thesis defense. They are fromNigeria, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. One of them majors in oil & gas storage& transportation engineering, and the other five international studentsmajor in petroleum engineering. They have thesis presentation and also answerquestions to defense committee. After discussion, the defense committeeannounces that they pass thesis defense.

Zhu Li (JulietOgbidi Momodu) comes from Nigeria and majors in petroleum engineering. LiXiaogang, her supervisor, says that she studies very hard.

EzizHojimuradov coming from Turkmenistan says that teachers approve performance inthesis defense.

On behalf ofinternational students, Zhu Li says in her address: ” In these four years,teachers and classmates take care of us and they are very friendly to us.Although I can’t remember all their names, I remember SWPU, the teachers andclassmates here. I have changes a lot. Thanks for my teachers and classmates. Iwish everyone will have bright future. ”

Wang Ling,vice-president of SWPU, says:” students all have good performance today. Youare the first international student in SWPU, and there will be more and moreinternational students, so education will become better and better.”
